A big update to The Garden, which you can now walk through on foot, plus a tidier home page.

Added
  • Walk through The Garden. Step inside the 3D garden and explore it on foot. Move with W, A, S and D, hold Shift to run, look around with the mouse, and click a plant to open its details. The beds and the fence are solid, so you follow the paths the way you would in a real garden, and you enter through the gate.
  • Growth rules you can actually read. The garden now spells out how a plant grows. Every extension earns growth points from its likes, downloads, and views, and the panel lists what each stage costs and how many extensions are sitting in it. Open any plant and you get its own breakdown: the points it has, and how many more it needs to reach the next stage.
  • A sign on every bed. Each plot has a wooden sign showing the extension's name, who made it, its likes, its growth points, and the stage it has reached. Signs turn to face you and stay readable from anywhere in the garden.
Improved
  • Nine growth stages, and a much harder climb to the top. Plants now grow through nine stages, from seeds in turned soil up through sprouts, seedlings, bushes, blossom, and a sapling before reaching a full fruiting tree. The upper stages cost far more community support than they used to, so a tree is something a garden earns over time rather than a default.
  • Plants that look like plants. Seeds rest in a mound of soil with a shoot breaking through, sprouts unfold real leaves, bushes carry clumps of foliage, and the oldest extensions grow trunks, branches, and fruit. Each stage used to be a coloured cube.
  • A garden worth walking around. Blocky turf underfoot, gravel paths laid level with the grass down every aisle, raised beds that hold their soil, a proper picket fence with a gateway, and a treeline on the horizon.
  • A smoother garden. The 3D view does far less work each frame, so it runs noticeably better, especially on laptops.
  • A quicker home page. The tabs, search, and Garden View button now share a single row, so you reach the extensions sooner. Search has a clear button, and the Qlik Cloud and on-premise filters are one-tap chips that show what is active alongside the result count.
  • A calmer extension card. Cards no longer repeat the same generic tag under every extension.
  • The sponsored card sits in its own column beside the Regarden heading, with a glow that follows your cursor along its edges.
Fixed
  • The garden fence is visible again. The fence around the garden had been sitting below ground level, so almost none of it could be seen.
  • The search icon no longer swallows clicks. Clicking the magnifier now puts the cursor in the search box.

  • Profile privacy controls. You now decide what appears on your public developer profile. Your email is private by default and only shown if you deliberately turn it on. Your GitHub, LinkedIn, and website links each get their own show and hide switch, so you can share exactly as much as you want.
  • Feedback, built in. Send bug reports, feature ideas, and questions to the team right from the app.

  • Live like and download counts. Likes and downloads now update instantly and stay accurate, even when many people are active at the same time.

  • Reliable profile editing. Saving changes to your profile now works every time, with a clear confirmation when it succeeds.

  • Submit your extensions for the community to discover. Submissions are published instantly and link straight to your repository, because Regarden is a directory and your code stays where it lives.
  • Developer profiles with your bio, links, and the extensions you've built.
  • Community signals, likes and comments, with each extension's trust level computed from real community activity rather than assigned by a moderator.
  • The Garden, a living 3D view of the directory where extensions grow as plants.
